Rich rang us to tell us he was a keen surfer who was in Málaga on holiday for a week with his girlfriend.
He had no board or transport. He hadn’t surfed in Spain before and was itching to see what this part of the Atlantic had in store for an experienced surfer like himself. We knew exactly where to take him!
In October, Southern Spain begins to get the bigger Atlantic swells and some reef spots start to deliver the goods! We gave him a shortboard but he opted not to surf with a wetsuit as the water was still warm (in fact, in these parts, the warmest seas are in the months of September and October).
Rich and Eva wanted to stay two nights, so we were swift to book accomodation for them right next to the surf break.
The epic waves he scored made him smile all the way back to Newquay. He was already planning their return to Spain for another private surf guiding week!
