Sport science, meteorologist and surfer.Studied his Sports Science Degree in the UK, and practiced various sports including football (he supports Liverpool!).

By following a surfer’s odyssey of traveling to find waves you get to meet people and learn about their culture. This is what I find most rewarding.

I worked for the Met Office which helped me understand as a surfer the importance of learning Meteorology and Oceanography and it’s effect on surf conditions – a relatively new science.

Naturally, I started surfing with friends, but after all these years travelling and practicing surf around the world I have discovered that the most important attribute is “confidence”.
